Discover how Turin’s wild side thrived during the global 2026 City Nature Challenge!

The Regional Museum of Natural Sciences in Turin welcomes you to the closing event of the City Nature Challenge 2026 (https://www.citynaturechallenge.org/).

This year’s campaign, which ran from 24 April to 10 May, achieved record figures: 3 million sightings, over 83,000 species recorded and 109,000 enthusiasts worldwide!

Turin also got involved.
From Falchera’s Parco dei Laghetti to Parco Colonnetti, via Pian del Lot and Superga: together with plenty of experts, we turned green spaces and the hillside into a huge open-air workshop.

What can you expect at the event?

• Presentation of the City Nature Challenge’s mission.
• The Results: let’s find out together which animals and plants we photographed and how many, comparing the data with the previous edition.
• The Awards Ceremony: let’s celebrate the Turin-based citizen scientists who recorded the most observations.
