Exchanging gifts in the animal kingdom
Many animals exchange gifts like feathers, flowers, small prey during courtship to strengthen bonds and improve mating success.
From tropical forests to ice fields, we will explore how animals use signals like offering objects, food, or specific behaviors to communicate through a system shaped by natural selection for functions like courtship and cooperation.
Guided tour of the exhibition rooms + classroom activities.
Guided tour times:
- from 10.30 a.m to 12.00 p.m.;
- from 2.30 p.m to 4.00 p.m..
Intended for: families with children aged 5 to 12.
Duration: 1 hour and a half.
Cost: €5.00 per person + museum admission ticket.
