Mediterranean killers, un mare sotto assedio
The Mediterranean is a sea under siege by the climate crisis, with significant impacts on marine ecosystems, coastal communities, and socio-economic repercussions that can no longer be ignored.
In this talk, we will explore some phenomena that have transformed this sea, surrounded by land, into one of the most vulnerable climate change hotspots on the planet. Through reflections and concrete examples, we will address issues such as biodiversity loss, the spread of alien species, and extreme events.
