PARKS AND MUSEUMS: when Nature meets research
An event for adults, children and teenagers to celebrate, with a toast and a theatrical performance, the collaboration between the Gran Paradiso National Park and the Regional Museum of Natural Sciences in Turin, based on the shared vision for both research and nature protection.
The two entities have recently established a binding framework for joint work in these relevant areas. Today, more than ever, a shift towards valuing, studying, and safeguarding nature is absolutely needed. All living beings, including humans, are intrinsically part of nature and interconnected within a system of delicate relationships and balances, regardless of whether we are consciously aware of this connection.
The event is designed to offer attendees some food for thought: after signing the agreement and a quick celebration, the funny yet profound theatrical performance "The Three Minutes of Man" will be presented. The story of Planet Earth from the Big Bang to the first human societies will be told in 40 minutes.
If this story lasted as long as a calendar year, the appearance of Homo sapiens would occur in the last minutes of the year, just before midnight!
Intended for: adults, families, children, teenagers
Duration: one hour and a half.
Cost: free
