Homo et Ibex

Homo et Ibex is a Visitor Center of the Gran Paradiso National Park.

The Visitor Centre has been set up on the premises of the former Grand Hotel in Ceresole Reale.
It focuses on the human-ibex relationship as depicted in history and art.

Visitors will see:

• a replica cave featuring prehistoric paintings that portray the earliest known ibex figures and hunting scenes;
• paintings;
• photo collections;
• myths and legends;
• daily-use objects;
• multimedia resources detailing specific ibex characteristics.
