Po Landscape Interpretation Centre

The Po Landscape Interpretation Centre is one of the visitor centres of the Management Body for the protected Areas of the piedmontese Po.

It is housed within the historic Palazzo Mossi in Frassineto Po, Alessandria province.

This display provides an overview of the transformation of the Po Basin, covering its progression from a sub-aquatic Tertiary environment to the contemporary fluvial and alluvial system.

Spanning from Crescentino, Vercelli, to Lomellina, Pavia, this area is defined by its predominantly aquatic landscape.

The exhibition includes:

The Centre is managed by the Management Body in collaboration with the Municipality of Frassineto Po and the Bernardino Cervis Academy of Culture.
