Tutelattiva Park Workshop

Overview

Tutelattiva Park Workshop is a Visitor Center of the Gran Paradiso National Park.

It showcases the multifaceted and dynamic progression of the Park.

Presented as an experimental workshop, it features:

  • explanatory models;
  • multimedia systems;
  • interactive games;
  • role-playing activities;
  • a sensory space where visitors can experience the distinctive scents and sounds of the woodland.

Topics covered:

  • Water.
    There are models that:
    • demonstrate the effects of water on the landscape;
    • illustrate certain flood events;
    • describe the interaction between human settlements and hydrogeological factors.
  • Forest and Pasture.
    Visitors can:
    • take part in a simulation of strategic measures for forest conservation;
    • take a multimedia journey into the life of a woodcutter.
  • Wildlife and Humans.
    An in-depth look at how humans and animals interact with one another.

The Centre is also home to themed displays dedicated to:

  • the wolf;
  • the ibex.

A Park Guide is on hand at the Centre during opening hours to provide knowledgeable and detailed information.
