The photo contest THE TIME OF NATURE is back

The Regional Museum of Natural Sciences of Turin – MRSN – and CAMERA – Italian Centre for Photography – in collaboration with FIAF Italia, Igers Torino, Piemonte Parchi and Abbonamento Musei, are delighted to launch the 2025 edition of the photographic contest “The Time of Nature”, especially designed for nature and photography lovers.

The 12 best snapshots will be picked to create the MRSN's official 2026 calendar!

How to partecipate?

• The submission period for the photo contest is between June 25th and September 14 th, 2025
• Each participant can submit only one photo
• The submission process involves filling in a form

Who can participate?

• both professional and amateur photographers
• Age: participants must be at least 18 years old
• Residence: participants must be resident in a country within the European Union

Which photos should be submitted?

All photos in which the natural world in its infinite and astonishing facets is the protagonist will be accepted

What are the requirements for the photos to be sent?

• horizontal format
• minimum resolution: 300 dpi
• minimum size: 13×18 cm (2126×1535 px)
• maximum weight: 10 MB

What are the prizes for the winners?

• 1 copy of the MRSN 2026 calendar,
• 1 “Abbonamento Musei Piemonte”, an annual pass that allows free access to museums and exhibitions in the Piedmont region, including Turin.
• Some publications of FIAF and MRSN
• A free guided tour of the MRSN
